Description

The Elios family by Faro Barcelona is a versatile and adaptable collection of architectural downlights with a choice of recessed frames and engines. The Elios Fix Tunable White downlight is supplied with a trim recessed mounting accessory.

The 7W CRI90 LED has a tunable white colour temperature of 2400-6500K, with a choice of IP20 or IP54 waterproof ratings. The fixed optic is designed for general lighting that supports the natural human circadian rhythm. The human centric aspect of Elios makes the collection of luminaires perfect for lighting in both residential and commercial projects. Optional accessory lenses available for increased visual comfort and decreased glare.

What is Tunable White LED?
The circadian rhythm of human beings evolved in sync with the natural cycles of the sun and moon, adapting to their different light spectrums at different times of the day. Tunable white lighting, also known as variable white, dim-to-white, or custom temperature lighting, allows the light colour to be adjusted to recreate the natural light of the day/night  - usually from candlelight 2400K white, to a neutral 4000K white, through to a cool 6500K white. A flexible lighting solution that promotes biological balance, Human Centric Lighting works with our natural rhythms, creating more productive or relaxing environments that mimic the natural lighting at that time of the day and greatly improves health, sleep, visual comfort and everyday wellbeing. 

Casambi or DALI control
Available in versions compatible with either Casambi or DALI dimming control systems. Driver included.
