With tunable white 2700K - 6000K technology, our Surf 5 recessed downlight combines a row of 5 energy-efficient LEDs with an anti-glare design, resulting in a trimmed recessed downlight purpose built to illuminate longer spaces. With a contemporary and architectural style, and a family that includes a longer 10 downlight version to cover larger spaces, recessed with trim or trimless plaster-in installation, and fixed or adjustable for focused or wall washing applications.
About tunable white LED
Also known as variable white, dim-to-white, or custom temperature lighting, tunable white LEDs allow the light colour to be adjusted - usually from warm 2200K white, to a neutral 4000K white, through to a cool 6500K white. A flexible lighting solution that is perfect for human centric lighting schemes, the fitting easily switches from warm to cool depending on whether you need a calm ambiance or specific lighting for a task, usually automatically programmed to provide the correct white light temperature for the time of day.This fitting can be adjusted from 2700K to 6000K.

With a beam angle of 30º, Surf 5 fixed is a designed as a more focused spotlight, washing the space directly below with light - perfect for both commercial lighting in a hotel lobby, office or restaurant, or for lighting a hallway or above a table or kitchen island in your home.High quality materials
The luminaire is made from steel with the heat sink in extruded aluminium for optimum heat dissipation. Optic lens reflector with ABS baffle. The minimal white bezel is supplemented by the baffle being available in matching white or black. With a unified glare rating (UGR) of less than 10, Surf offers completely homogeneous lighting. Supplied with 0-100% phase dimmable driver as standard. Compatible with leading edge and trailing edge dimmers. DALI dimmable driver also available.Wireless dimming from your smartphone
This luminaire can also be used with the Casambi dimming units to give flexible control of all the lights in your home. Create the perfect mood for all situations wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.0 and save them as pre-set scenes on the Casambi app from your smartphone. Or control the scene at the touch of a button, either with Casambi wireless wall switches or with an off-the-shelf push dimmable on/off switch.
