Eiger 1-R LED round adjustable recessed plaster-in downlight has a lumen output of around 800lm coupled with an IP54 rating - making it perfect for installation in residential projects and in bathroom zone 2. Utilizing a state-of-the-art True Colour CRI98 LED COB, the Eiger range renders colours with superb accuracy. Plastered directly into the ceiling to produce a trimless & seamless finish, the light engine is easily removable through a simple twist mechanism, which allows for easy maintenance post installation. 15º or a medium 36º beam angles are available. Die-cast aluminium luminaire with steel housing. Adjustable tilt of 24º and 355º rotation. Heat sink in forged aluminium for optimum heat dissipation. Reflector in plastic PC. In white or black. Our downlights are fire rated as standard, and have lasted over 60 minutes in independent tests by Cambridge Fire Research.
Once installed, the LED fitting can be simply removed from the plaster-in housing with the supplied suction pad. The remote driver can be housed separately from the fitting, which allows for any maintenance access with minimal fuss and no impact on the finished ceiling. Compatible with leading edge and trailing edge dimmers. Dimmable with either 0-10V, TRIAC or DALI dimming drivers - see dropdown for options. Eiger is available in multiple versions, and with or without trim.

Wireless dimming from your smartphone
This luminaire can also be used with the Casambi dimming units to give flexible control of all the lights in your home. Create the perfect mood for all situations wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.0 and save them as pre-set scenes on the Casambi app from your smartphone. Or control the scene at the touch of a button, either with Casambi wireless wall switches or with an off-the-shelf push dimmable on/off switch. Emergency lighting compatible
Emergency pack available as an extra. By utilising the optional emergency pack this luminaire can be used as a back-up emergency light fitting that complies with standard building safety regulations. In the event of a power outage this high performance fitting becomes a low lux emergency light, operating at around 10% of it’s original performance with a battery life of 3 hours.
