OUTLET DLD Eiger Mini 2 Twin Fixed IP65 CRI98 LED Recessed Downlight

The twin fixed version of our Eiger Mini LED round recessed downlight with trim is smaller than our standard Eiger by 1/5. Despite this, it still packs a punch with a light output just over 400 lumens per LED light engine - making it a great choice for a more discreet fitting. With an IP65 rating that is bathroom friendly up to zone 1, Eiger Mini uses our own state-of-the-art True Colour CRI98 LED COB to display colours with amazing clarity.

Post installation the LED fitting can be simply removed from the plaster-in housing for simple maintenance access. Available with a narrow 24º or medium 36º beam angle in 3000K. Die-cast aluminium luminaire with steel housing. The heat sink is made from forged aluminium for optimum heat dissipation. Reflector in plastic PC. Our downlights are fire rated as standard, and have lasted over 60 minutes in independent tests by Cambridge Fire Research. 

Driver not included. Dimmable with either 0-10V, TRIAC or DALI dimming drivers. 

Wireless dimming from your smartphone

This luminaire can also be used with the Casambi dimming units to give flexible control of all the lights in your home. Create the perfect mood for all situations wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.0 and save them as pre-set scenes on the Casambi app from your smartphone. Or control the scene at the touch of a button, either with Casambi wireless wall switches or with an off-the-shelf push dimmable on/off switch.  See the 'You May Also Need...' section below for the available options and technical information.

Emergency lighting compatible

Emergency pack available as an extra. By utilising the optional emergency pack this luminaire can be used as a back-up emergency light fitting that complies with standard building safety regulations. In the event of a power outage this high performance fitting becomes a low lux emergency light, operating at around 10% of it’s original performance with a battery life of 3 hours. - Our Top Tips -

• The KGP or EldoLED drivers available with Eiger Mini both fit through the small cutout hole.
• Install the drivers either inline (a single driver per downlight) or remotely (one driver housed at an accessible point away from the light fittings).
• Installing inline: any faults are localised to the individual downlight, the others are unaffected.
• Installing remotely: one driver is housed in an easily accessible position and powers multiple downlights (reducing costs), however any issues are likely to affect multiple downlights at the same time.
• Get in touch if you're installing remotely and we can recommend the best driver for the number of fittings and type of dimming you're using.
