OUTLET DLD Eiger 1-S LED IP65 Plaster In Downlight True Colour - Next Day Delivery

Description

Like the rest of the family, the fixed square version of the Eiger plaster-in downlight utilises the latest True Colour CRI98 LED COB - resulting in colours being rendered in outstanding clarity. The Eiger 1-S omits roughly 800 lumens, and thanks to it's IP65 rating it's the perfect plaster-in downlight for seamless installation into ceilings and bathroom zones 1, 2 and 3. With a simple twist mechanism, the light engine can be easily removed from the plaster-in kit post installation. Available with a beam angle of 15º or 36º. Die-cast aluminium luminaire with steel housing. Heat sink in forged aluminium for optimum heat dissipation. Reflector in plastic PC. In white or black. 

Once installed, the LED fitting can be simply removed from the plaster-in housing with the supplied suction pad. The remote driver can be housed separately from the fitting, which allows for any maintenance access with minimal fuss and no impact on the finished ceiling. Compatible with leading edge and trailing edge dimmers. Our downlights are fire rated as standard, and have lasted over 60 minutes in independent tests by Cambridge Fire Research. Compatible with leading edge and trailing edge dimmers. Dimmable with either 0-10V, TRIAC or DALI dimming drivers - see dropdown for options. Eiger is available in multiple versions, and with or without trim.

Wireless dimming from your smartphone

This luminaire can also be used with the Casambi dimming units to give flexible control of all the lights in your home. Create the perfect mood for all situations wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.0 and save them as pre-set scenes on the Casambi app from your smartphone. Or control the scene at the touch of a button, either with Casambi wireless wall switches or with an off-the-shelf push dimmable on/off switch.  See the 'You May Also Need...' section below for the available options and technical information.

Emergency lighting compatible

Emergency pack available as an extra. By utilising the optional emergency pack this luminaire can be used as a back-up emergency light fitting that complies with standard building safety regulations. In the event of a power outage this high performance fitting becomes a low lux emergency light, operating at around 10% of it’s original performance with a battery life of 3 hours.
