Invisible home technology at it's best - the 24V KNX Small Trim Push Button by rond boasts a beautiful design that is contemporary and minimalist. The KNX-native version carries the interface inside the switch - no separate interface is needed. Rotatable every 45°, the KNX Push Button is compatible with all rond 2.0 installation kits. Available with two-fold or four-fold configurations, for elegant and sleek control. 

• Small trim design (Ø52mm) features a small lip which protrudes from the mounting surface
• The trim hides imperfections near the edge of the installation ring, the solution for easy plastering/install

One of the following install kits are required

Multifit Holder

• For Small Trim data-ports and USB-C wall sockets, push buttons and switches
• Installs into cabinets and furniture, and into wood, veneer and stone panels
• For panels with a depth of 10-30mm

Backfit Holder

• For Trimless data-ports and USB-C wall sockets, push buttons and switches
• Installs into cabinets and furniture, and into wood, veneer and stone panels
• For panels with a depth of 19mm and with access to the back of the panel
• Where the panel is thicker or thinner than 19mm, the panel can be machine cut or packed out to the correct depth.

Multiple finishes available

• Basic - white, black, cream or grey
• Aluminium - white or aluminium
• Brass - brushed nickel, brushed brass, light bronze, dark bronze, canon de fusil dark (gun metal) and canon de fusil light

What is a KNX push button?
The KNX-native version of the rond 2.0 push button removes technical barriers. No separate interface needed anymore. Up to ten wires become just two. Fewer terminals, fewer chances of a false connection, less time spent on installation. 

Is the rond push button compatible with dimming?
Yes. The rond 24V push button supports dimming when paired with a compatible push-dim (switch-dim) driver.

What size is the rond 24V push button, and does it come in a trimless design?
Yes. The rond 24V push button has a small trim design with a Ø52mm diameter, featuring a small lip which protrudes from the mounting surface. The trim hides any imperfections around the cutout, the solution for easy installation — see below for wall compatibility.

Can it be installed in any wall type?
The rond 24V Small Trim Push Button is suitable for:

• wood panels
• veneer panels
• stone and marble panels

What installation kit do I need?
A choice of 2 holders depending on the project:

The Multifit Holder: installs into cabinets and furniture, and into wood, veneer and stone panels - suitable for panel depths of 10-30mm.

The Backfit Holder: installs into cabinets and furniture, and into wood, veneer and stone panels - suitable for panel depths of 19mm and with access to the back of the panel. Where the panel is thicker or thinner than 19mm, the panel can be machine cut or packed out to the correct depth.

Not suitable for brickwork or plasterboard. 

Does the rond push button have a built-in temperature sensor?
Yes. It includes an invisible NTC temperature sensor, integrated seamlessly into the minimalist design without affecting its trimless finish.

Can the button orientation be adjusted after installation?
Yes. The push button is rotatable every 45°, so it can be aligned to your preferred orientation regardless of how the housing box was originally installed.

What configurations and finishes are available?

• Configurations: Two-fold or four-fold button layouts
• Finishes: Basic (white, black, cream, grey), Aluminium (white, aluminium), Brass (brushed nickel, brushed brass, light bronze, dark bronze, canon de fusil dark, canon de fusil light)

What are the RAL colours for the white and cream cover plates?
The white cover plate is RAL 9003, and the cream cover plate is RAL 1013.

Is it compatible with other rond products?
Yes. The rond 24V push button is compatible with all rond 2.0 installation kits, making it easy to combine with other rond switches and sensors in the same installation.

What if I need to access the wiring after installation?
The rond retrofit ring is designed with a dedicated removal tool, so electrical connections stay accessible even after plastering — making future maintenance or adjustments straightforward.
