Description

An architectural suspension acoustic pendant, Fonovia 1560 by Faro Barcelona is designed to bring warmth to work spaces whilst simultaneously softening noise levels in the surrounding environment. Thanks to its sound-absorbing textile panels, the smaller Fonovia 1560 suspension light is perfect for lighting zoned office areas and work desks.

With panels made from recycled PET Fonovia obtains absorbent class A and has a sound absorption coefficient (α) of 0.90 whilst also being environmentally friendly. A perfect complement to decorate and illuminate offices and open common spaces. The light source is 25W SMD LED, with a light colour temperature of 3000K or 4000K.

Sound absorption

Noise in offices and workplaces has direct consequences on worker performance especially the reduction in concentration levels. Workers exposed to continuous noise in their workplace are less effective in their work tasks. Concentration often means giving the brain a break to think better and focus on an activity. Luminaires made from fabrics with noise-absorbing properties are perfect for work spaces with high noise levels and acoustic distractions.
