Description

A hybrid outdoor wall light, LUMA by Faro Barcelona uses both solar and electric power and is equipped with a configurable motion sensor. The lens enhances the light projection, allowing greater coverage with fewer units and maximising energy savings. Luma is a contemporary, architectural and technologically advanced outdoor luminaire with an IP65 rating. It combines solar and electric power to adapt to any project requirement.

Efficient hybrid energy

Utilising a hybrid power system, Luma combines solar power with an electrical connection. Daytime charging via its solar panel; once the battery is depleted the mains supply takes over seamlessly. Luma can also be set to solar-only mode, making it a cable-free fitting ideal for reducing energy consumption and simplifying installation.

Smart motion sensor

Luma's motion sensor has three modes to enhance comfort, reduce consumption and extend autonomy.

• Green mode: Permanently at 10%, rises to 100% when motion is detected.
• Yellow mode: Always at 100%.
• Red mode: Off, turns on to 100% when motion is detected.

Sustainable light, fewer fixtures

Thanks to its asymmetrical optics, Luma projects light forward with precision and breadth without any loss - reducing the number of fixtures needed to illuminate outdoor spaces. Luma makes the most of every resource: solar energy to reduce consumption, optics to boost performance, and cable-free operation for easy installation. It only switches on when it detects the absence of light, using energy only when needed. Technology, design and sustainability working for greater efficiency.

Self-cleaning and ultra-efficient design

The upper surface features a slight tilt that prevents water from pooling on the solar panel, creating a self-cleaning effect that ensures better performance and a longer lifespan. This detail also optimises the solar capture angle, boosting charging efficiency and enabling more sustainable operation.
