DLD Pico 5 Outdoor IP65 Surface Mounted LED Downlight

The DLD Pico 5 Surface is a slim, rectangular IP65 downlight for ceilings and soffits where recessing isn't an option, making it ideal for porches, entrances, canopies, balconies and covered walkways. Five Bridgelux LEDs sit deep within the die-cast aluminium body behind premium lenses, producing a clean, low-glare line of light with minimal spill.

Measuring 151 x 49 x 91mm, the 10W fitting is finished in sanded black (RAL 9005) or sanded white (RAL 9003). Choose a 15°, 24° or 36° beam angle and a colour temperature of 3000K, 4000K or 6000K (CRI >80), with an optional honeycomb louvre for additional glare control. When should I choose the surface mounted Pico 5 over the recessed version?
Choose the Pico 5 Surface where recessing isn't practical, such as concrete, timber-clad or shallow soffits, or where there is no void above the ceiling. It delivers the same five-LED, low-glare beam as the recessed model.

How big is the Pico 5 Surface?
The Pico 5 Surface measures 151 x 49 x 91mm. Its slim rectangular profile keeps it discreet on porch ceilings, canopies and covered walkways.

Can the Pico 5 Surface be used in exposed outdoor locations?
Yes. The Pico 5 Surface is IP65 rated, so it is dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. Its die-cast aluminium body dissipates heat efficiently and it operates in temperatures from -20°C to +50°C.

What does the optional honeycomb louvre do?
The honeycomb louvre sits in front of the LEDs to cut glare further when the fitting is viewed from an angle. It is ideal for entrances and seating areas where people look up towards the light.

Is the Pico 5 Surface dimmable?
Yes. The Pico 5 Surface has an integral driver and is available with phase dimmable or DALI options. Please specify your preferred control type in the dropdown when ordering.
