DLD Frame Adjustable Semi Recessed Artwork Spotlight - Next Day Delivery

The DLD Frame Adjustable Semi-Recessed Artwork Spotlight combines precision picture lighting with a clean, architectural ceiling finish. Only a slim trim plate is visible at ceiling level, while the adjustable head projects below to aim exactly where it is needed.

Four framing shutters let you shape the beam to the outline of a painting, print or mirror, and the zoom lens adjusts from 20° to 35°, so one fitting suits both small works and larger canvases. With CRI >95 and 3-step MacAdam colour consistency, pigments and textures are rendered accurately and neighbouring spotlights match perfectly.

The head tilts 90° and rotates 355°, which is invaluable in residential schemes where ceiling positions rarely line up neatly with the hanging wall. The black baffle and lens unit reduce glare, with the die-cast aluminium body available in black or white. Choose warm 2700K for homes and hospitality, or 3000K for galleries and display.

Supplied with a remote phase/mains dimmable driver, so it works with standard dimming circuits straight out of the box. 0-10V and DALI versions are available on request.

Where should an artwork spotlight be positioned?
As a guide, aim the beam at the centre of the artwork at around 30° from vertical. This reduces reflections on glazing and shadows from the frame. With a 2.4m ceiling and artwork centred at around 1.5m, that places the spotlight roughly 500–600mm from the wall.
