Description

LED Profilelement DL 26-F aluminium profile is designed specifically for concealed and integrated installation in walls and ceilings. The DL 26-F LED recessed profile is made from high-grade aluminium, in which a 2.4cm wide channel allows for more than one length of LED tape (if desired) to run through. If the distance of the LED chips is less than 15mm, a homogeneously illuminated line (without visible points) is created. Perfect for creating dramatic indirect lighting effects behind 'floating' structures. Opal diffuser cover made of polycarbonate (PC) is weathering and UV-resistant and flame-retardant. The optional end caps, made of polypropylene (PP), additionally seal the profile.

Installing two LED strips in the profile means that DL 26-F can be used as a primary light source that is energy-efficient.

- Our Top Tips -

• Why do I need a diffuser?
  The diffuser is final piece of the jigsaw, with it you will create a nice soft halo of light. Without it you will create a hard wonky line – not a great look.
  
  
• How do I avoid cracks in the plaster?
  Use 60mm fleece lining or 90mm fleece lining over the join of the profile and plasterboard (or joining to other profiles) before applying the final layers of plaster. See 'You May Also Need' below.
