With the ADD LED drywall profile, you can build wider light strips of 80 or 120 mm width into the area. The Profile is installed flush with the plasterboard ceiling, showing no visible edges. Two installation depths of 40 and 80 mm and two cover widths allow for an individual combination. Supplied in 2m lengths.
In the installation video you can see all the installation steps and get valuable tips.

What makes this profile better than others on the market? This profile is made from zinc alloy which is very hard to deform - even under a high heat output. Therefore changes in temperature will not cause cracking in the plaster (provided the recommended fleece lining has been used too) unlike aluminium profile which often bends.
How do I install the profile? With a shallow depth of 12.5mm, this installs flush into plasterboard and no other structure is required for installation - saving time and money.
How do I avoid cracks in the plaster? Use 60mm fleece lining or 90mm fleece lining over the join of the profile and plasterboard (or joining to other profiles) before applying the final layers of plaster. See 'You May Also Need' below.
