The organic yet elegant Falling Leaf In Pendant Light by Tobias Grau successfully merges a minimal and contemporary look with its original influence of autumnal leaves falling to the ground. An award-winning classic, the Tobias Grau Falling Leaf Suspension Light boasts an eye-catching polished aluminium shade. The reflective metal contrasts beautifully against the matt Santoprene, which is finished in a choice of subtle finishes. Falling Leaf is impressive enough when installed individually, but when designed as a bespoke cluster of suspension lights in a hallway or hung as a trio over a rectangular dining table or kitchen island it creates a bold and modern statement piece, whilst still retaining it's original essence.
Using the latest cutting-edge LED and optical lens - Falling Leaf possesses outstanding colour rendering and a light output of over 1000 lumens, all wrapped up with newest glare reduction technology. Falling Leaf reproduces the effect of a dimmed halogen bulb which gets warmer when the light dims thanks to the energy efficient warmDIM LED. Falling Leaf fully on = the light is crisp and bright. As Falling Leaf is dimmed = the light softens and the colour temperature adjusts, radiating a homely amber glow.
This version of Falling Leaf is supplied with the 'In' fixing, a semi-recessed ceiling rose that allows the LED driver to be housed in the ceiling. This fixing has a recessed depth of 6cm. Falling Leaf is available with other ceiling fixing options - see below.

"We use various methods of casting to create our luminaires and place the highest possible demands on them. The FALLING LEAF has been manufactured using a sand casting process. In this process, the metal is heated until it liquefies and then poured into a sand mould which has been individually made for each part.
It is a characteristic of this casting process that small air pockets (so-called cavities) are created, along with slightly differing shades in colour and small bumps. They are all in accordance with the production method and create a charm and individuality for each luminaire and component."
