The contemporary Mist Pendant by Seed Design beautifully combines a serene Asian influence with highly skilled craftsmanship. Inspired by the awe-inducing clouds and mists that frame the mountains of China, the Mist Suspension Light uses the steel conical elements (finished in chrome, brass or copper) to represent the light hitting the mountain tops. The mouth blown glass diffuser is painstakingly sandblasted from the inside, creating the mist at the base of the mountain. Take yourself back to an ancient Chinese scene, quietly perched on top of a mountain and contemplating the world unfolding through the misty clouds. Drop a pair of modern Mist pendants above your kitchen worktop or a row of 3 glass suspended lights over a wooden dining table, bringing a calming tranquillity to the family below. The opaque glass diffuser softens the light, gently creating an ambient atmospheric effect.
Shade available in a more subtle 17cm or larger 27cm diameter, with the steel element in chrome, brass or copper. Maximum drop of 1.5 metres. Complete with a 2 metre suspension cable in black textile wire and the canopy in the same finish as shade to match. Requires an E27 lamp (not included).
