Modux 2 recessed wall washer is a low-voltage dimmable outdoor for washing walls with a uniform light. Designed primarily to be recessed into floors, its state of the art optic creates a subtle wash of light with excellent beam uniformity. Can also be mounted in walls to wash floor surfaces.
Just 58mm in diameter, the Modux 2 Wall Washer produces a light output of 130 lumens @ 2 watts. It can be over-driven safely at 3 Watts maximum for more output. The pin mounted Cree 2 watt max LED can be easily replaced if required or substituted for a colour LED. The luminaire can be mounted very close to the wall and still achieve a good result.
Precision machined in marine grade 316 stainless steel, copper or powdercoated aluminium, the luminaire achieves IP68 water ingress rating for piece of mind.
Finished in natural copper (which ages over the years to give a weathered patina - see Downloads tab), 316 stainless steel or black powdercoated passivated aluminium.

Copper, and stainless steel components have a 10 year warranty against defective workmanship and deterioration, while the powder coated aluminium components have a 5 year warranty. Both warranties are subject to standard conditions listed below:

The electronic components in all LuxR Modux luminaires have a 3 year warranty against defective workmanship and failure, subject to standard conditions listed below:
Standard Conditions:
The environment in which the luminaire is to be installed must be considered carefully when selecting the finish. Solid copper and stainless steel luminaires are recommended for corrosive environments such as near salt water. Aluminium fixtures may not be covered by the full warranty in these situations.
Stainless steel requires regular cleaning in salt air environments to protect againt crevice corrosion and tea staining in particular.
Warranty excludes impact damage (except for lenses), incorrect installation and incorrect re-assembly. Luminaires must be kept properly maintained, including replacement of gaskets whenever they are serviced.
