Rendering colours with an accuracy that is unsurpassed, the fixed version of the Eiger 1-R True Colour downlight combines a cutting edge CRI98 chip-on-board LED with an IP65 rating - making it the perfect choice for bathroom zones 1, 2 & 3. With a round bezel providing a neat finish with the minimum of installation fuss, the Eiger light engine has an output of around 800 lumens - sufficient for most residential lighting schemes. Once installed into the ceiling, the light engine can be removed separately from the frame through a simple twist mechanism, which makes maintenance access simple.
A narrow beam angle of 15º or a medium 36º are available. Luminaire in die-cast aluminium with steel housing, with the heat sink in forged aluminium for maximum heat dissipation. Reflector in plastic PC. In white or black. Our downlights are fire rated as standard, and have lasted over 60 minutes in independent tests by Cambridge Fire Research. Compatible with leading edge and trailing edge dimmers. Dimmable with either 0-10V, TRIAC or DALI dimming drivers - see dropdown for options. Eiger is available in multiple versions, and with or without trim.

Wireless dimming from your smartphone
This luminaire can also be used with the Casambi dimming units to give flexible control of all the lights in your home. Create the perfect mood for all situations wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.0 and save them as pre-set scenes on the Casambi app from your smartphone. Or control the scene at the touch of a button, either with Casambi wireless wall switches or with an off-the-shelf push dimmable on/off switch. Emergency lighting compatible
Emergency pack available as an extra. By utilising the optional emergency pack this luminaire can be used as a back-up emergency light fitting that complies with standard building safety regulations. In the event of a power outage this high performance fitting becomes a low lux emergency light, operating at around 10% of it’s original performance with a battery life of 3 hours.
