The K2 LED fixed plaster in downlight fully recesses into the ceiling, creating a neat trim-less finish. Featuring a removable light engine and available with a beam angle of 13º, or 40º. The inner structure's design is a smooth dome shape (in white or black), keeping the light source subtle yet effective. The plaster frames are shaped so that multiple downlights can be installed directly next to each other, allowing for architectural lighting compositions whilst keeping the spacing consistent. K2 is a seamless flexible fitting is suitable for using as a focused spotlight / wall washer or to flood an area with light. Utilising the up-to-date True Colour CRI98 LED COB technology, the K2 range render colours with outstanding accuracy.
Made from die-cast aluminium with steel housing, while the forged aluminium heatsink allows the fitting to stay cool with optimum heat dissipation. Bezel available in black or white. Reflector in PC plastic. K2 has an IP65 rating and is perfect for lighting bathroom zones 1, 2 and 3 and in outdoor lighting projects. Our downlights are fire rated as standard, and have lasted over 60 minutes in independent tests by Cambridge Fire Research. Emergency pack available as an extra. By utilising the optional emergency pack this luminaire can be used as a back-up emergency light fitting that complies with standard building safety regulations. In the event of a power outage this high performance fitting becomes a low lux emergency light, operating at around 10% of it’s original performance with a battery life of 3 hours.
