Description

With a cutting-edge LED COB, the True Colour CRI98 Eiger 1-R renders colours with outstanding accuracy. The fixed round plaster-in version of the Eiger produces around 800 lumens, and coupled with an IP65 rating means it's ideal for installing seamlessly into the ceilings of residential projects or bathroom zones 1, 2 and 3. The light engine can be removed through a simple twist mechanism with the supplied suction cup, which makes maintenance access simple. 15º or a medium 36º beam angles are available. Die-cast aluminium luminaire with steel housing. Heat sink in forged aluminium for optimum heat dissipation. Reflector in plastic PC. In white or black. Our downlights are fire rated as standard, and have lasted over 60 minutes in independent tests by Cambridge Fire Research.

Compatible with leading edge and trailing edge dimmers. Dimmable with either 0-10V, TRIAC or DALI dimming drivers - see dropdown for options. Eiger is available in multiple versions, and with or without trim.

Wireless dimming from your smartphone

This luminaire can also be used with the Casambi dimming units to give flexible control of all the lights in your home. Create the perfect mood for all situations wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.0 and save them as pre-set scenes on the Casambi app from your smartphone. Or control the scene at the touch of a button, either with Casambi wireless wall switches or with an off-the-shelf push dimmable on/off switch.  See the 'You May Also Need...' section below for the available options and technical information.

Emergency lighting compatible

Emergency pack available as an extra. By utilising the optional emergency pack this luminaire can be used as a back-up emergency light fitting that complies with standard building safety regulations. In the event of a power outage this high performance fitting becomes a low lux emergency light, operating at around 10% of it’s original performance with a battery life of 3 hours. Please contact us for details.
